Who we are

This site is operated by CS Clay Tile, 2 Market Place, Unit D, Palm Coast, FL 32137. You can reach us on 1-844-CSTILES or at info@csclaytile.com. If you have a question about your information, either route reaches a person.

What we collect

Most of what we hold is what you type into a form. There is no account to create. This site also uses a visitor identification service, described below, which can identify some visitors who have not filled in a form.

• Sample requests: your name, email address, phone number, the role you selected, your ZIP code, the tile profile and color you are considering, and anything you write in the message field.
• Contractor enquiries: your name, email address, phone number, the project ZIP code, and your project details.
• General contact: your name, email address, phone number and message.
• Newsletter signup: your email address, and nothing else.

Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, which record the IP address, browser type and time of requests to the site. These are generated automatically by the web server and are used to keep the site running and secure.

Why we collect it

To answer you. Specifically: to send the sample you asked for, to put you in touch with a roofer who has installed our tile, to reply to a question about a profile or a fitting, and to send you occasional notes if you asked for them. We do not sell it, and the details you type into a form are never used for advertising.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages people read, which tile profiles they look at, and whether they find what they came for. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to recognise a returning visit and to group a single visit together. We do not use Google Signals.

What we send to Google Analytics is deliberately limited. We never send your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, or anything you typed into a message box. When you submit a form we record that a submission happened, which form it was, the role you selected, the tile profile you chose, and the color you named if it is one of our catalog colors. That is all. The details you actually entered are not sent to Google Analytics.

This site also uses advertising measurement tools so we can tell which advertising brought someone here. We use the Meta pixel, which reports to Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when a page is viewed and when a form is submitted, and Google Ads conversion tracking, which reports the same to Google. These set cookies and can be used by Meta and Google to show you our advertising on their platforms and to build audiences of people who have visited this site. This is the kind of tracking that can follow you across other websites and apps.

What these advertising tools receive is limited in the same way as our analytics. We never send your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, or anything you typed into a message box. When you submit a form we report that a submission happened and which form it was. The details you actually entered are not sent to Meta or Google.

If you would rather not be measured for advertising, you can control this in your Meta account settings under Ads Preferences, in the Google Ads Settings page, or by blocking cookies for this site in your browser. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.

This site uses CallRail, a call tracking service, so we can tell which advertising or search brought us a phone call or a form enquiry. CallRail sets cookies in your browser and may show you a phone number that is specific to your visit. If you call that number, the call is connected to us through CallRail, which receives your phone number and details of the call, along with the pages you viewed on this site.

CallRail is also set up to collect what you enter when you submit a form on this site, which can include your name, email address, phone number, address and message. This lets us match an enquiry to the visit that led to it.

The site also sets a small number of its own cookies to keep forms secure and to remember you if you sign in to manage the site.

To opt out of Google Analytics, you can install Google's official opt-out browser add-on from tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. That add-on covers Google Analytics only. To limit the other measurement described on this page, including call tracking, you can use your browser's setting to block cookies for this site. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.

If we ever add anything further — advertising measurement, remarketing, or a third-party chat or support tool — we will update this page and say what was added.

Visitor identification

This site uses a visitor identification service provided through our marketing agency and its data partners. When you visit, the service collects your IP address, cookies, browser details and the pages you view. It may match that visit to details its partners already hold. For homeowners that can include your name, email address or mailing address. For people visiting on behalf of a business, it can include your name, job title, work email address, company and LinkedIn profile. This can happen even if you did not fill in a form.

We use those details to follow up with information about our tile, by mail, email or online advertising. We do not sell them. The service does not run if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not trade it. It is handled by our hosting provider, which stores the site and its database, and by our email provider, which delivers the notification to us. If you ask to be connected with a contractor, we will pass on what you told us so they can contact you about your project — that is the point of the request.

Google receives the website usage data described under "Cookies and tracking" above, as our analytics provider. It does not receive your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code or message.

Meta Platforms receives the advertising measurement data described under "Cookies and tracking" above, as our advertising provider. Like Google, it does not receive your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code or message.

CallRail receives the call and form information described under "Cookies and tracking" above, as our call tracking provider.

Our visitor identification partners receive the visit data described under "Visitor identification" above: your IP address, cookies, browser details and the pages you view.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them to deal with your project and any follow-up, and then deleted. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept on our host's ordinary schedule.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@csclaytile.com or call 1-844-CSTILES and tell us what you want done. We will not charge you for it and we will not make it difficult.

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link.

Depending on where you live you may have specific statutory rights, including under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights. The route above is how you exercise them with us.

Children

This site is meant for people specifying, buying or installing a roof. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will change this page and update the date at the top. Material changes will be described rather than quietly folded in.
