Accessibility Statement
The standard we build to, what has actually been tested, what we know is not right yet, and how to tell us if something gets in your way.
Last updated 30 July 2026.
Our commitment
We want anyone to be able to use this site — to compare profiles, look at colors, and ask us for a sample — whatever device or assistive technology they use. We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
Current status
This site partially conforms with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. "Partially conforms" means most of the standard is met and we know of specific things that are not. Those are listed below rather than left for you to discover.
What has been tested
As of the date above, across every page on this site:
- Text contrast was measured on every element that carries text, including text over photographs and translucent panels. Every combination meets the AA threshold, and the interactive hover states were checked separately.
- Every form field has a visible, programmatically associated label. There are no unlabelled inputs and no buttons or links without an accessible name.
- Every image carries alternative text, and decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- Each page has one main heading and a logical heading order beneath it, and uses proper landmark regions so you can jump straight to the navigation, the main content or the footer.
- There is a skip link to the main content, and keyboard focus is visible on both light and dark sections.
- Pages reflow to a phone-width screen with no horizontal scrolling and no loss of content.
Known issues
- The photographs at the top of the home page change automatically. There is a control to stop them, but moving content that starts on its own can be difficult for some people. We are reviewing whether it should start paused.
- On the blog index, the heading level jumps from the page title straight to the article titles without an intermediate level. This can make the outline read oddly in a screen reader.
- Our testing so far has been measurement of the pages themselves. A full review with a screen reader, by a person who uses one, has not yet been carried out.
How this was assessed
Self-assessment. Contrast, heading structure, form labelling, landmark regions and mobile reflow were measured programmatically across every page at both phone and desktop widths. This site has not been independently audited or certified.
